Hope for Lupus Foundation recently held a meaningful session for couples and partners who are planning—or hoping—to start a family while living with lupus.
Seven dedicated couples came together, showing that love, support, and understanding truly make this journey lighter and more hopeful.
We are deeply grateful to our guest speaker, Dr. Mona Ethellin L. Yiu-Senolos, for generously sharing her expertise and guiding our participants through the realities and possibilities of pregnancy with lupus. Your passion, clarity, and patience in answering every question meant so much to all of us.
Our sincere thanks as well to the National Kidney and Transplant Institute for providing us with a safe and welcoming space for this important discussion.
Special appreciation to Mam Jenny from NKTI, our volunteer Mr. Gary Santos, and our hardworking facilitators Ms. Rhyana Nazam, Ms. Annie Bernardo, and Mam Helen Driz for making this event seamless and meaningful.
To all the couples who joined us—thank you for your courage, trust, and commitment to one another.
Your journey inspires us all.
Together, we continue to bring hope, knowledge, and support to every lupus warrior and their loved ones.
