Today, we attended Rare Diseases Week Celebration, with “Rare Diseases in the Philippines:- A New Chapter Begins For People Living Rare Diseases,” at the Shangri-la Plaza Hotel.
It was an inspiring gathering alongside fellow advocates – Ms. Ara Lonorio of NF Friends (Neurofibromatosis Group), Mr. Jeremie Soriano of Acromegaly PH / PSOD (Philippine Society for Orphan Disorders, Inc.), Dr. Louddie Castillo, PNA, and Dr.Melanie Alcausin from the UP-NIH, Institute of Human Genetics.
Also present were some of our lupus warriors and valued media partners, united in advancing awareness, and hope for the rare disease community in the Philippines.
