Though symptoms of lupus vary from patient to patient, symptoms like fatigue, muscle stiffness, aching bones, swollen joints, and neurological issues such as headaches are common among many people living with lupus.
Yesterday, 16 of our lupies from Taguig enjoyed a wonderful wellness get-together focused on easing into fitness, with the help of Coach Analie Borja and Coach Melannie Tugano, who led an energetic Zumba session after a meaningful exchange of personal lupus journeys and ideas on different forms of exercise suitable for lupus warriors.
It was another fulfilling day for everyone. We thank our coaches, the staff of EMME, who are always very welcoming and supportive, and of course, we deeply appreciate the inspiring message from our beloved Usec. Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, who is herself very active in fitness through exercise, yoga, and Pilates workshops. Her example continues to inspire our warriors to do the same.
