Focusing on raising awareness about mental health management, specifically focusing on anxiety and depression, for individuals living with lupus. This month, Hope for Lupus Foundation’s meet-up was held in Antipolo, Rizal last Saturday, February 17, 2024.
The event provided a platform for lupus warriors to connect, share experiences, and gain insights from an expert speaker Ms. Jeannelyn Rose Bautista – Teodones, a B.S. Psychology graduate with experience in mental health advocacy and the daughter of an HFL facilitator – Mrs. Rannelyn Bautista.
HFL members and facilitators actively engaged in discussions, shared personal stories, and expressed gratitude for the supportive community created during the event. The event was a testament to the power of community and support in navigating the challenges of living with lupus.
By fostering open dialogue and providing a platform for sharing experiences, the event contributed to greater awareness and understanding of mental health issues among lupus patients.
Moving forward, the foundation remains dedicated to promoting holistic well-being and advocating for the needs of individuals affected by lupus by providing continuous support in raising awareness about lupus.
