A Heartfelt Gathering for Our Brave Juvenile Lupus Warriors

Last March 22, Saturday, Hope for Lupus held its first-ever event dedicated to children living with lupus and their caregivers at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute. This special gathering aimed to give them a safe space to connect, support one another, and find strength in shared stories and hope.

We were deeply honored by the presence of our Founder and President, Usec. Emmeline Aglipay Villar, and her daughter Emma, whose joyful energy inspired both our young warriors and their parents.

Our gratitude also goes to Dr. Johnny Tamon and Dr. Sharmane Co for generously sharing their knowledge and bringing smiles through their thoughtful gifts.

Special thanks to Brit Philippines for the fans, to our ever-reliable kuya Gary Santos has helped us since day 1, and to NKTI’s dedicated social workers—especially Ms. Jenny Casidsid—who stayed by our side throughout the event. And of course, to our hardworking and dedicated Hope for Lupus facilitators.

Together, we move forward with hope, courage, and strength. We will continue our mission to inspire and raise awareness about lupus.
